NIGERIAN SCAMMERS STILL AT IT!!!!

THEY JUST WONT GIVE IT UP WILL THEY!!!??

I HAVE BEEN SELLING ON EBAY FOR OVER A YEAR NOW BUT HAVE RECENTLY SPLIT FROM MY PARTNER SO HAVE OPENED A NEW ACCOUNT AND HAVE STARTED SELLING ON MY OWN....I WAS LOOKING ON HERE TO SEE WHAT SORT OF PRICE I WOULD GET FOR MY PHONE AND JUST HAPPENED TO NOTICE THE GUIDES ABOUT THE NIGERIAN SCAMMERS.

I decided to put my phone on here anyway, listed it in the normal way, and just sat back and waited to watch the bids cum in! Less than 15 minutes later i recived a message from a member claiming to be a doctor in the US saying that he was in west africa doing medical research, and was interested in the phone for his personal use,(thats a new one, normally they are for his son with 1 leg who was in the army!!!) he went on to offer me 260 pounds and sed he would pay it into my paypal account!!! "suprise, suprise" asking for my email address and name and saying he would pay it in immediatley, telling me that if the offer wasnt good enough, that he would make me a better one. I thought i would mail him back and i warned him that i am aware of the nigerian scammers and knew not to send the item untill the funds had cleared to my bank...i gave him my email address and told him that if he was genuine then he wouldnt have any problems doing that...well what do you know....i got no response!!!

It bugs me that they try and pick on ppl whom they think are newbies, it puts the real new members right off Ebay altoghether!!!. I would like to encourage new and old members alike to stand up to this, as Ebay themselves dont seem to care, i have now warned on my listing that just because my feedback say's 0...dosent mean that i am new, nor infact stupid!!! I am gonna give this members user ID so that n e 1 reading who is thinkin of selling thier phone will know he is infact a fraudster...CARNESURE is his user ID.

One last thing....it seems to me as tho these ppl are more interested in SONY ERICSSONS than any other model of phone at the moment and they are putting in ridiculasly high bids at the last minute...infact yesterday i watched one go for 2,220 pounds!!!! Just be very aware if you want to sell your phone!!!!
