Fakes or not fakes sunglass

I am considering buying a designer sun glass,first time from ebay and its the price that's got my attention.The seller would generally have a very good feedback score +200. And then some other sun glass makes dispatched from China etc. I then went on to an official ray ban site on ebay warning on the number of fakes that were selling at cheap prices.This obviously concerns me and has some what discouraged me, I didn't think fakes could be sold and would appreciate any comments on this and thanks in advance.

If you have a 'Pound Shop' near you, get your sunglasses from their. My pair work really well.
I cannot understand people wanting brand names on their stuff.
An impoter friend of mine says that many of the unbranded goods are made alongside the so called branded ones, and that the only difference is the silly price the branded goods go for.

Cheap sunglasses often don't offer much, if any, UV protection.
I have read that wearing that type is worse than wearing none at all. Apparently the eyes open and the pupils widen, because they are in the shade.
This meand that you actually get more UV on the eye than if you had no glasses on at all, in which case you would naturally squint and protect your eyes a bit.
