Buying Wholesale means that you are buying in bulk at a cheaper cost than buying Retail. It can be very lucrative to buy your items wholesale and then sell them individually (Retail) on eBay.
Two very good websites of wholesale suppliers (you buy from them at wholesale prices and then re-sell on eBay by adding your 'mark up',[a percentage]. Example you buy 50 bracelets wholesale at 1 each, you sell them by adding, say 50% mark up. Therefore you buy at 1 each and sell them on eBay at 1.50 each). To look at these websites go to: thewholesaler.co.uk, and/or esources.co.uk. When you place your order, you may have to pay 'minimum order' prices as wholesalers only sell to trade, not the public, so a 'minimum order value'(i.e. cost of the goods you buy) can be anything from 50 to 200. One wholesaler who does not charge a minimum order price is somethingdifferentwholesale.co.uk.
Some people start selling on Ebay by buying, say, from 'cheap shops' and then resell those items on eBay,but these shops have already put their 'mark up' percentage on the wholesale cost, so you are still paying too much by doing it this way..
It is worth doing your homework andworking regularly with a few good wholesalers. Your home will become a packed with large cardboard boxes, packing materials and sellotape, as well as cardboard boxes full of the items you have purchased wholesale, but it is a very rewarding occupation, and you can sell your goods individually on eBay! Good Luck! lils2003
