Ihave just spenta long time trying to find 18ct solid gold rings. @ when i finally get the page up - its wasted more time perusing each item - as 2 out of3 are only gold - PLATED- which i think is very wrong- as a new buyer could think theywere getting a lovely 18 ct gold ring- only to find its false as its only GOLD-PLATED/ Surely there should be a special listing for these items- as its so time- consuming to trawl thru pages of this kind of jewellery/LuckilyI know what to look for - before I bid- but there must be many that get conned by these items//GP -- MEANS GOLD -PLATED- and is only costime jewellery/ When buying real gold - always check for hallmarks- 18ct is 750 @ 9ct is 375- IF UNSURE ALWAYS EMAIL THE SELLER /Hope this has been of some help- as I do hate to see genuine buyers conned in this way// best wishes Dee
