I have found that people are under the impression that recorded/signed for mail is trackable and in the past I was under that impression as well,
well its not the case the only time that the Royal Mail can track a recorded item is after it has been signed for up to that point your letter/packet
is only classed as normal mail and even when it is signed for there is no guarantee that the person who signed is the recipient! worth remembering
