I feel the time has come to write a guide for people looking for authentic Ray-Ban Products.

Please be aware that Ray-Ban Sunglasses are manufactured by Luxottica and nobody else. Luxottica hold this license and all NEW Ray-Ban Sunglasses and Frames are manufactured in Italy.

If you see a Ray-Ban Product that interests you and you see it at a price that is well below the recommended retail price FIRST check that the lenses are the correct colour for the code that is listed.

I have found a Ray-Ban RB4081 710/13 listed on a US site with a gradient grey lens which is incorrect it is and should be a gradient brown lens.

Do not be fooled by fabulous photographs this does not make the product genuine it is just a good photograph.

Go to the official Ray-Ban Site and CHECK that the colour is correct.

A seller may at some time make a mistake with a listing and forget to put the correct code in, check with the seller, but if the photograph shows the wrong colour frame with the incorrect lens you can be pretty sure this is not genuine.

Ray-Ban Sunglasses are superb if they are genuine and a disappointment if they are not. Only buy the genuine article and you will be delighted.
