Gordon Ramsey - Humble Pie

At first I thoughtGordon Ramsay was a rude idiot, that was until I started watching his F word and reading his Autobiography book Humble Pie. My girlfriend thinks he's great and with his drop dead gorgeous eyes (she says) she is oftenin the kitchen cooking recipes from his cook books which is great for me as I don't need to lift a finger. The book details his childhood and how his abusive father could never hold down a job let alone keep an house, Gordon was forever on the move and never stayed in the same place too long. He comes from a very poor background and originallyhemade hiscareer in football until he had an knee injury to which he then turned to cookery. The book also talks about his drug user brother Ronnie, how Gordon met Tana and how rough Gordon was treated when he was a young chef (properly explains why he swears alot now). The book has lots ofnitty gritty inand is a great read. Now Gordon has gone to the US topromote Hells KitchenI can't wait to watch andread his next book.
