Dichroic glass has gained popularity over the past 5 years and as such the market has been flooded by products purporting to be 'dichroic' or 'murano'. Unfortunately an ever increasing amount of these items are not dichroic, some aren't even glass!
Dichroic glass is essentially a specialty glass with metal oxides coated to it producing fabulous colours that can reflect in different shades depending on the light. The glass is available in patterns from the main producers such as CBS or savoy studios.
